Carbon Cans II

Carbon Cans is an ode to the emotional process around returning to sobriety. This is reflected in the piece by giving space to life, death and resurrection. Where life was once the fully filled can of beer, death as the crushed cans buried by sand which symbolises the end of its functionality. Lastly the state of resurrection, unearthing the carbonised state of a relationship that once was and is still remembered.

Carbon Cans es una oda al proceso emocional en torno al regreso a la sobriedad. Esto se refleja en la pieza al dar espacio a la vida, la muerte y la resurrección. Donde la vida solía ser la lata de cerveza completamente llena, la muerte se representa como las latas aplastadas enterradas por la arena, simbolizando el fin de su funcionalidad. Finalmente, el estado de resurrección representa el desenterramiento del estado carbonizado de una relación que una vez fue y aún se recuerda.
